Containers
1. Sea Containers
Below we list the most common maritime containers. It should be noted that the measurements are general and standard, but may vary depending on the manufacturer or special requirements.

Dry Van
They are the standard containers. Hermetically closed and without refrigeration or ventilation.

Metallic
They are similar to standard containers, but without sealing and without refrigeration. They are normally used to transport waste and garbage by road.

High Cube
Standard containers mostly of a length of 40 feet; its main feature is its higher height (9.6 feet).

Reefer
They are refrigerated containers, but they have a cold or heat preservation system and a thermostat. They should be connected on the ship and in the terminal, even in the truck if possible or in an external generator. They work under three-phase energy current.

Open Top
Similar to the previous ones, but open at the top. The merchandise can stand out, but in that case, additional charges are paid depending on how much cargo was not able to be loaded because of this size excess.

Flat Rack
They do not have side walls and even, as the case may be, front and rear walls. They are used for atypical loads and pay extra charges in the same way as Open Top containers.

Open Side
They are open on one side and their lengths are 20 or 40 feet. It is used for loads of larger dimensions in length that cannot be loaded through the container door.

Tank or Tank container
Used mostly for bulk liquid transport. It is a cistern contained within a series of steel beams that delimit a cuboid whose dimensions are equivalent to those of a Dry Van.

Flexi-Tank
Its function is to transport liquids in bulk. They suppose an alternative to the container cistern. A Flexi-Tank consists of a standard container (Dry Van), usually 20 feet, inside which is fixed a flexible polyethylene tank for single use called flexibag.

2. Air Containers and Pallets
We present some of the most commonly used aerial containers, as well as a couple of pallets of frequent use, considering that there is a wide variety of models and sizes for both of them. It should be noted that the measurements are general standards, but may vary depending on the manufacturer, specific models or special requirements.

Containers a) AAP / AA2, b) AMP and c) AMA / AQ6
Standard aluminum containers, whose dimensions and load capacities vary. They open on one side and close by a flap and a web of straps. It can adapt to the hanging garment load. Some have security doors.

Container AMP

AKH container
Metal container with side and top opening, which can be closed with fabric, or the roof with a solid closure, as required. Can be handed by forklifts.

AKE container
Aluminum container with fabric panels, open on the side and closed with canvas flap.

AKN container
It is also made of aluminum, mainly designed to improve rigidity and safety. It has a side opening and closes with a double metal door. Can be handed by forklifts, it is adaptable to hanging garment and admits sealing.

Pallets a) PGA and b) PMC
Low height pallets of general use and remarkable toughness due to its base of stringers. They vary mainly in their length and cargo capacity, and they are ideal for lower warehouses and main decks.
